Printer (प्रिंटर)

A Printer is an Output Device. It is used to print the information stored in a computer on paper.

The printed paper is called a Hard Copy.

For example, if you prepare a resume in MS Word and print it on paper, the printer converts the soft copy into a hard copy.

प्रिंटर (Printer) एक आउटपुट डिवाइस (Output Device) है।

इसका उपयोग कंप्यूटर में मौजूद जानकारी को कागज़ पर छापने (Print) के लिए किया जाता है।

कंप्यूटर में दिखाई देने वाली फ़ाइल को Soft Copy (सॉफ्ट कॉपी) कहते हैं और जब वही फ़ाइल कागज़ पर छप जाती है, तो उसे Hard Copy (हार्ड कॉपी) कहते हैं।

आसान उदाहरण:- 

मान लीजिए आपने MS Word में एक आवेदन पत्र (Application) बनाया।

• कंप्यूटर में दिखाई दे रहा आवेदन = Soft Copy
• वही आवेदन Printer से कागज़ पर निकल गया = Hard Copy
